In Honor of International Agunah Day

The Jerusalem Post published an article marking International Agunah Day, authored by the director of the IYIM Agunah and Get-Refusal Prevention Project, Dr. Rachel Levmore. The article compared the methodology and the results of two extraordinary cases of agunot, handled by the Israeli Rabbinical Courts. Dr. Levmore issued a call, saying: “The Rabbinical Courts must set itself free to set the agunot free”! See Rachel Levmore, “Is the Rabbinical Court’s best good enough?”, Jerusalem Post 23.2.20, p. 10, https://www.jpost.com/Opinion/Is-the-Rabbinical-Courts-best-good-enough-618435
