Dr. Levmore authors Agunah Prevention article on front page news

In a breakthrough notification to the English speaking Jewish world, the article “Prevention of the classic “agunah'” was published on the front page, second section, of the Jerusalem Post on Sunday Jan 13th, 2019. Authored by Dr. Rachel Levmore, director of IYIM’s Agunah and Get-Refusal Prevention Project. The “Tripartite Agreement” – Heskem Hachut Hameshulash – was presented as a preventative solution to the problem of a “husbandless wife” as Dr. Levmore terms the status of the woman whose husband has disappeared or lies in a permanent vegetative state. Included was a description of the upcoming Shabbat Scholar in Residence, where Rabbi Prof. Michael Broyde, author of the agreement, will discuss it in the Rimon Central Synagogue of Efrat on Shabbat Shira, Jan. 18-19, 2019. https://www.jpost.com/Opinion/Prevention-of-the-classic-aguna-577139
