Get Refusal Publications

The IYIM Agunah and Get-Refusal Prevention Project published an article which appeared in the Times of Israel’s “Top Ops” listing for many days, due to the extraordinarily high number of “shares” by the readers. The article addressed the issue of the average person’s discomfort in applying community sanctions on a get-refuser—even when so ruled in a Rabbinical Court ruling. The feedback to this article indicated that it answered a deep need. See: Rachel Levmore, “A Get Refuser in our Mist”, Times of Israel, Nov 6 2017-Click on the icon to read the full article

The IYIM Agunah and Get-Refusal Prevention Project rose to the challenge of inspiring the rabbinic leadership in Israel as well as the general public, in actively expressing the public’s will to bring back the seven IDF soldiers missing or held captive. In a moving article, published on the news page of the “kipa” site the coordinator described how the mother of Hadar Goldin turned to her, asking for help. – Click on the icon to read the full article
